Massage Therapy
Massage therapy supports overall well-being by helping to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation. It can ease chronic pain, support recovery from injury, and calm the nervous system, making it easier to manage stress and sleep more soundly. Whether used occasionally or as part of a regular wellness routine, massage therapy offers both immediate relief and lasting benefits for the body and mind.
Types of Massage Used in Our Practice
DEEP TISSUE
Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue, making it especially effective for chronic tension and tight areas.
SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports massage focuses on range of motion, proprioceptive-neuromuscular facilitation, (PNF) and strengthening, and is used to treat athletes with chronic pain or injury. Coupled with myofascial manipulation, this technique is very successful at keeping you on your game.
ACUPRESSURE
Acupressure is a form of touch therapy that utilizes the principals of acupuncture, and Chinese medicine. While the technique targets same points on the body, there are no needles used. Acupressure can be very effective both as prevention and as treatment for many health conditions, including headaches, general aches and pains, colds, flu, arthritis, allergies, nervous tension, sinus problems, sprains, tennis elbow, and toothaches.
